Ziggum.com - Welcome To The World Wide Wholly S#*tOn this day when we stop to honor all those who have served this country by putting their lives on the line so that we may be free. I would like to leave this note:
I am not writing here to debate the point if the war in Iraq is justified right now. I do believe the world is a better place since Saddam is no longer in control of a country. I also believe that one life lost in this conflict is one too many. Every soldier is special to someone and should be special to every one in this country. They are out there putting their life on the line every day and night for us. They go anywhere, anytime our leaders tell them at a moments notice. They do this job well and need the support of everyone at home from our leaders down to the little children living in anytown, USA. We have gone too far at this point to back out of Iraq. We started it we have to finish it! We need to tell our elected officials that they need to make sure that these brave men and women have everything they need from intelligence, supplies, equipment to troops. Yes I said it if we need more troops to prevent more lives from being lost. Then they need to be there. Hopefully we can have some help from other country such as Great Brittan. No matter who comes to the aid of our service members their needs to be more. I believe the hostilities are getting way to out control and need to be stopped now. I am not a military official nor have access to classified material but I see the main thing we need there now is more feet on the ground. We need to make sure our leaders know that these men and women need to be taken care of. They need the best medical attention in the field and at home active or retired. They need to be taken care of financially. They donÂt need to know that while they are miles from home that their families are at risk from losing their homes because of a sudden lack of a major if not the only bread winner. We need to make sure everyone comes home and has a home to come home to.
